It takes a swing through the 2017-18 season...and I just wonder if the Mo Valley should be changed to the IL Valley... :?

It's been great for the league that Wichita, Creighton, and UNI have had some success the last few years, but the MVC for me is much better when the Illinois teams are at the top. I'm looking forward to this finish. Would love to see an all Illinois semifinals at Arch Madness.

This is the "Take Care of Business" game. You can't let Evansville win on your home floor. If you take care of what you need to this weekend, you can move ahead of SIU with a win next Thursday, with ISUs RPI being higher. One step closer to the top 2.

Who I want to win:
Birds
MO State (Let's get back in the conference race.)
Panthers (Continue to create distance from the Thursday night game. A loss for the trees would be good for us.)
Drake (start the jumble for the 2 seed instead of the 7 seed.)
Valpo (all teams in front of us need a loss)

SIU all alone in second with at 6 point victory over Valpo in Carbondale.

Thursday night's game got a little bigger.

If ISU vs. SIU was played in the 80's or 90's with 2nd place on the line this late in the season, it would be crazy at Horton or Redbird. Hopefully, there is a big crowd.

Not sure if the 8:00 start will hurt or help. Seems like anything other than 7:00 hurts... should help the student turn out but hurt those that don’t live in BloNo coming...

I think 8 is better that 6 because at least you can get there for the start of the game if you are coming from out of town. We will see. Can't wait for it. I miss the days when ISU vs. SIU was important.

I drive down from western suburbs and Eight and Seven o'clock are fine. 6 o'clock is very difficult to make on time.
