Adunk, I don't think there's any question that we're headed to a FBS/FCS style split in Divison 1 basketball.

Quinn...academics is such a small consideration now. That setup keeps kids out of class longer (in person or online) but keeps the 'tutors' and 'academic advisors' in the mix by doing lots of homework and test taking. Oops, did I say that?

They're paying kids. It's no longer academics first at p5 anyway

These universities are re-investing their football $$$ into academic facility upgrades/additions. Take a look at what Alabama has done to their buildings all over campus. Meanwhile, they are aggressively recruiting the Chicago Suburbs with full ride academic scholarships. If Bama or Ole Miss comes calling with an academic scholarship for my kids, you can bet we will take it. Thank you very much Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin! You can pay those football players all you want! Roll Tide, Hotty Toddy!

I just watched 15 minutes of this. It’s the greatest realignment analysis I’ve ever watched.
