No lines are out for the game yet, but if I were a betting man, I'd take the over. Mosely has been absolutely destroying teams since he made that buzzer beater against Bradley averaging 36 ppg, 61% fg, 48% 3pt, 6rbs/pg. Lewis/Fleming will have to hold him under 20 or less for the Birds to have a real shot. Road games typically don't go the Birds way (especially after an emotional win), but you know what they say. Defense travels, and this team seems to understand that. Just need to put it together for 40 minutes instead of 25 and I like the Birds chances.

No lead seems to be safe against this team.

I'm less stressed about this game after we beat them at home and now winning against BU. Losing at MSU is not the end of anything. Hope we can get the win, but a loss is not the end of the world.

I think we matchup well against MSU. The key is to take Mosely out of the game which we can do. Once that happens their offense becomes very disjointed. If they played with the discipline of Loyola then they would be the best team in the valley by far. Win or lose this should be a fun game to watch. Sy really started to figure out how to play against Prim towards the end of last game. I think Sy come ready to play.

4 games in 8 days means the whole roster needs to be ready to play

Three-in-five (at Missouri State, Evansville, at Evansville). The Valley did us no favors squeezing in a Friday make-up date for a team still trying to get their health and stamina legs back under them. Dan may feel there is a need to limit minutes Wednesday in order to get the roster through Sunday.

Boomer 80, Reggie 72

We currently have another three-in-five set for late February (at Bradley, Loyola-Chicago, at Southern Illinois).

These are kids in college. They can handle 4 games in 8 days! They should get better each game.

Dan's gonna **** around and win enough to not be fired. I swear if he turns it around he better not jolt for the first p5 job.

It's nice that Schmitt has been playing well to give Chatman a rest without losing too much. If I remember right he even started the last game against MSU.

This isn't surprising at all. He has played tremendous the last three games. We will need Lewis and perhaps Fleming to play him tough without fouling Mosley. He is a great free throw shooter.

IF he does something he probably won't, sure. Look at porter
But haven't a large amount of your posts been about how we need to get rid of him because he's objectively not a good coach? Seems odd to say that and then say we should keep him if he winds up turning everything around. I know you said you don't think it'll happen, and I'm inclined to agree, but seems like if there is a caveat, then there is room for the argument that he's not as objectively bad as he's been made out to be

Wednesday is a huge opportunity to put us firmly ahead of SIU in 5th place at least temporarily. SIU lost to Drake at home today and plays InSt at home on Wednesday. Will be possibly our 2nd or 3rd toughest game of the conference season
