Sarge, how often does the selection committee attempt to shoehorn a valley team into the tourney? Last time I checked they need to get the 8th or 9th place lil ten in. The valley NET isnt very strong. Do Loyola and Mo St deserve a bid at this time of the season? Probably, but no valley teams wants to be sitting around on selection Sunday waiting to hear their name called if they don’t win in the Lou. History hasn’t been kind to us lil guys.

Been there, done that. No arguments from me, but a tempting story line could be hard to resist and a ratings boon. The crowds would be Yuge. I'm just spit balling.Shenanigans in the Lou would not be out of the question.
