Loved the win. A good team has multiple pieces who hurt you even half to half. Poindexter in the first and Knight in the second. Making free throws wins games. Don’t turn it over we can play with teams. Have to bulk up, get bigger, and find posts. Badly. So many plays guards are boxing guys out who outweigh them by 40+ and they stand no chance. Too many mismatches. They fought though. We play hard. Why no Burford the last 8:00 and OT? Rotation just seems to get away from us at times. It’s coming together though.

What has happened to the crowds? There were maybe 1,300 tonight. Whole sections of the lower bowl completely empty. Does the department try anything anymore? Why is one of our senior people screaming the F word at officials and trash talking the other team? That was embarrassing as a fan and donor, I had to move away from him.

Just plain satisfying! Though 3 in a row only four turnovers last 25 minutes. That’s as physical a game as you are likely to see. Stayed close on the boards and 29/32 free throws is amazing. Plus our defense was outstanding!!!

Very significant "W" ...I have been admittedly eye-rolling with Coach speak. Burford on the stage last week kinda made it known, these early yawns Ain's MVC caliber. Big time bullet for the 'Birds. We ain't winnin' poop anytime soon, but Coach lit a fire.

A very gritty and tough win tonight. Good for Lewis to have a good game and to make shots at the end of regulation and in OT - excellent. Luke for Three was a killer in OT. Everyone gave it up on D tonight. Feels good to win a tough game.

MOST were chuckers

I like that I've seen improvement in areas the last two games. Turnovers were down, yet still frustrating at times. Knight played with purpose in the paint. We are much better when he does. Sandage was more under control. Made a majority of the bunnies, and got to the line a bunch. Lewis showed some signs of life.

Poindexter played a fantastic first, and good second half. Burford led the comeback. Pedon went Burford on O Sandage on D for a good stretch to save him from fouling out, but eventually went straight Sandage. Kazooski hit some big threes. Knight was on all game.

Rotation got tighter. 4 guys played 34+

Kotov played. Sissoko started and looked alright then disappeared. Mayor McCheese was ineffective

Good win, keep the streak going. Improve a little every game.

I thought we played well just before halftime and it carried over throughtout the second half. This was a good team win. We had several players contribute in different ways. It was one of the more entertaining games of the year.

That's two consecutive games we pulled out that could have gone either way. Perhaps this team is learning how to win. It was nice to see Lewis get the game tying shot in regulation. I know he wasn't the first option but it was nice to see Kendall get rewarded in that situation. It hasn't always worked out for him in those situations. It also seemed to give him some confidence in OT too. Hopefully this is a turning point for him because he has seemed to struggle since Christmas break.

A very nice all around game for Knight off the bench. Poindexter was on fire the first half. Burford led the charge at the start of the second half. Luke was big on defense and hit some key 3s. Colton struggled shooting but played with energy.

Let's get Liam back on track and we can make some noise.

BTW - Ty Pence was present and giving hugs to the players after the game. Coach Pedon made sure to get one too.

Have to love the fight in this team. As has been discussed on this board, without a true point guard and no real inside player it is amazing what these players can do. Drive into the paint and get fouled and hit just enough threes to keep defenses honest. Truly proud of the fight in all who played tonight.

Burford had 4 fouls; Coach wisely subbed Sandage on defense, then Burford on offense.

It was interesting to listen to the announcers describe the MO State offense. It was almost the same description that many on this board complain about regularly regarding ISU's offense. That is dribble and pass around the perimeter and shoot a 3. MO State then crashes the boards really hard and hopes for the best. I can see why Bradley crushed them because they are longer and make that style a real challenge.

We were down 3 in OT and the shot clock was about to run out when K Lew made a move and a short layup. HUGE play.

It was fun to watch and also great to see us pull out consecutive games that were basically tied with 4 minutes to go.

Good W. Nice to stay calm and controlled in the final seconds to tie it and then step on the gas pedal in OT. As others have said, get to the line! That's a good weapon for us. Also nice to protect the ball better and secure those 50/50 balls for a change. Amazing what happens when you don't give points away all game.
