It's the internet. Everyone is a reliable source. ;)

BTW, I can't believe there's any way MZ posted that.

I have no clue if Zimmer posted that, don't know why he would, reads more like internet "sarcasm". But there has been plenty of coverage in Minneapolis media of his comments about Cousins and the GM over the last couple years. Was mentioned more than once that after making the playoffs with Case Keenum at QB, Zim told media he saw no reason to spend big bucks on a QB, should use the dough to surround who you have with a better team - and then GM went out and signed Cousins to his $84M contract. Zim had very negative comments about Cousins not getting vaxed, said it was poor leadership, etc. So there's no love lost there. Media played up the fact that Zim, Spielman and Cousins weren't really on the same page.

This is maybe the biggest difference between coaching in the college ranks vs the NFL. When the GM and the head coach are not on the same page personnel-wise it can get ugly. College coaches typically have complete control over personnel matters.

But this happened ... more than a little odd for both of them .. this was after Vikings just kicked a gamewinning FG over Lions.
