...is now open. Kristen has the chops, man. She's a good interview for a variety of reasons.

That would suck to lose both Volleyball and basketball coach to them
Yes, but the upside is...it means our programs are most likely winning. I'd be just fine replacing revenue sport coach coaches every 3 or 4 years for this very reason. I really hope she gets strong consideration for this job. Kristen is a wonderful human being.

I wouldn’t begrudge her taking another job, but I’m not gonna hope for it. I’d rather she was another Tanya Warren who has been there 15 years and been in postseason 12 of the last 14

I getcha, but if she has ambitions for movin' on up, I absolutely hope for a better job for KG.

Or maybe she stays, we keep winning, and women's basketball sets attendance records.

Can’t argue with a thing you said, I totally get more money, more opportunities at the NCAA etc. I just wish at our level you could get someone to stay long term and build something. Maybe it’s in the water over there with Jacobson and Warren😎. But replacing a coach every 4 years is a crapshoot like on the men’s side if you are replacing half the team every year with the portal how do you win consistently? After Jill we had a terrible coach, a great coach, an ok coach, the worst coach in ISU history and a great coach. It’s hit and miss.

She leaves, most players will go as well. So the woman's are going to be as bad as the men's team is. For joy. So you are saying ISU can't keep a good coach and will always live in the "real" programs shadow. Is that correct? No wonder most of you don't want ISU to move up to a "real" conference. I get what you are saying and very sad it is. Would hate to see the social club have to have "real" game attending, younger and cheering members and fans.
