Along with the XFL, The Embersol brothers are starting another league, the Alliance of American Football. It will have 50 man rosters taken directly from those cut from NFL camps and rosters.

Looks like these guys are going to be battling over who can become the official developmental league of the NFL. My money is on the AAF because McMahon won't know how to run this as a sport and not "entertainment". Still, if you are a 3 star player who is looking to make an impact and play after graduation, it looks like there will be options for you.

You may be right but McMahon is a near multi-billionaire and the Ebersol's have peanuts to work with in comparison. I guess it all depends on who is also financially backing each party.

The new league will also be having a restricted draft like the NHL and NBA used to do back in the day where you can only pick guys in your home geographic area.
