He didn’t score in the first 5ish minutes of their game last night. Scored 15 before halftime. Was at 25 when I quit checking in.
Johnny is now the all time assist leader at his high school after dropping a quiet 31 points and 9 assists during his team’s last win. Gotta love a PG that can score and dish at will.
He's starting to remind me a bit of Nic Moore..

Very little wasted motion. Almost every step has a purpose. He looks very difficult to defend.

One Big Difference I’d imagine- Nic was always alone at Bird events, never sat with his team. Pedon doesn’t recruit INDIVIDUALS and wont stand for that.
The thing that I noticed was how effortlessly he elevated as he drove down the lane on his first drive on the video. I had to go back to see how tall he was. He didn’t dunk, didn’t try, but got to the rim on a short, quick drive down the lane.

Vid is blocked now.
I’ve watched 3 or 4 of his games this season and I am very, very impressed by this kid. I see him being an outstanding player for us. He does it all and makes the game seem so simple. He reminds me of Nic Moore. His shot might be his most impressive attribute. It is one of the most pure shot releases I’ve seen and it comes out quick.
