JRob looking pretty solid today, 11 carries for 48 yards at half-time, 2 catches for 21 yards. Getting lots of love from the announcers - one referred to someone else's comments about last week's game and said James was "arguably the best player on the field" during the game. Wow. Jags are up by 3.

Finishes with 75 yards in 17 carries, 4 receptions for 32 yards. Another nice day. He looked pretty solid in pass blocking too.

Slow day in many ways for JRob today, 11 carries for 21 yards, but he just scored a TD on a 14 yard pass late in the 4th Q, and overall has 4 catches for 24 yards. JVille does not look good today.

I watched the game. Most carries he had a guy taking him down as he was receiving the hand off. The Jags O line had a rough day. On one of the plays he got to the edge and the inside linebacker for Lions leveled James. He jumped up and smiled as the backer was barking in his ear. It would be fun to know what he said. I got a few ideas!

Yes. Just read a few "analyses" on the Jags web page and so far no one seems to be blaming James for the lack of run success. Poor o-line play, and getting behind early so they have to rely on the pass in the 2nd half being blamed. He's only getting 10-15 carries a game in these last few weeks.

1 unproductive game out of 6 as an undrafted FA on a 1-5 team, with questionable OL play. Averaging 96 total yards from scrimmage per game, which is 7th in entire NFL.

I'll allow it !!

They posted a graphic during the game that his yards from scrimmage so far are a record for an UDFA. Not bad. Doing us proud. Doing himself proud.

A lot of players would like to have a TD highlight like this on their worst day as a nfl pro. Yes it's an easy score. He got some good blocks like the one from the TE #80 on a LB'er. O'Shaughessey/Robinson= 6pts.

I was listening to the Detroit Lions radio broadcasters ( please don't ask me why). They had a lot of respect already for JR. They said the things we knew, that he didn't have great breakaway speed but how he did everything else real well. The Lions made it a priority to stop him that's for sure. So that's the respect he's now getting! At a bare minimum I think he'll have a long career as a third down pass catching back. He can get the short yardage too. Let's not forget his great attitude as well. Coaches got to like that.

Ha, I was cursed at birth being born in Ann Arbor. Did you guys ever read that thing that somebody puts out for each NFL team, listing all the reasons your team sucks. I was reading the Lions one and one guy wrote in saying he was born near Detroit so he of course was Lions fan. Twenty years ago he moved to Knoxville and has never ran into a Lions fan since.

James Robinson enters week 7 as the #6 fantasy running back in all formats. There are 29 teams kicking themselves in the ass right now for passing on him SEVEN times. He is the leading fantasy points scorer of all non-QB rookies.

How about that?

Not trying to brag but I told everyone who would listen when Fornette got cut to pick up JR. I don't play fantasy sports but I do have a bet on JR to win Offensive Rookie of the Year. He'll need to start producing some more but I think he should win it just based on his story (and my own personal greed).
