Glennon has to be better than what they had last week. That guy was beyond terrible. They were playing the Steelers though ....

Valley related, Jeremy Chinn, from SIU, returned 2 fumbles on back to back plays for touchdowns. The only person in NFL history to do that. Way to rep the Valley.

Talk about him in running for defensive rookie of the year. Would be awesome if valley was represented by him and Robinson

Glennon rarely looked to the check down during the game. He would throw the deep ball into double coverage. JRob was great picking up the blitz again. In my opinion his pass pro blocking is what stands out so far this year. It was great in the second quarter when he got tackled into the clevland sideline. They zoomed in on him and he has this shit grin on his face. You know someone was talking smack and he just smiles.

I did not see this coming. I didn’t think he’d get the chance without having breakaway speed and with how the NFL has pretty much morphed into 7on7 style of play. I am so happy for him. I hope he keeps it up!

Ok, so JR get's a lot of praise on our forum and in this thread. So hate to be THAT guy, but I found something JR is bad at. The mic'd him up for the Browns game. He says almost nothing most of the video. Except when he was on sidelines and one of the coaches teased him about why they would have mic'd him .. about 1:40 mark, good exchange.

Then finally, towards end of 3 min video, he has an encounter with one of the defenders after the game, who asked him where he played when he was a kid .... that was worth a listen. Just a humble no-nonsense mature young man .. nothing fazes him.

Anyway, so aside from the 2 exchanges I mentioned, the best sound from James being mic'd up is the hits he puts on tacklers.

Pretty sure everyone who talks about James has said he doesn't talk . . . ever . . . so I'm with the coach asking why you'd ever pick James as the mic'd up guy.

Once again Glennon forced the ball down field and missed JRob as the outlet many times. It is amazing to me how well he is playing with poor QB play. I will say that the Jags are a QB and a few pieces on defense from being a good team. I would say they have a better upside then the Bears!

I think Robinson's pro-bowl spot is locked. I'd hope that ISU celebrates the hell out of this in some way. What a recruiting tool to have this kind of return from a guy who was a 4 year braded ISU player and a graduate. It is possible Robinson makes a bigger impact on ISU football after he graduated than before.

I was pretty sure he could make some NFL teams, but wow, not this. I love how consistent he's been. If the Jags have a first and goal from the 5 you know JR will be scoring. Just give him three carries and there's a 99 pct chance of scoring a TD there. Don't bother with throwing it.

Just to add to the craziness of our undrafted guy doing so well -- the Jags have a Division III guy, Ben Bartch from St. John's U in Minnesota, working his way into PT and even starting now and then on the O Line. He was a Round 4 selection last spring. He got notice in one game for pushing the scrum including JRob over the line for a TD. So, a DIII guy on the Oline and UDFA at RB. Will be interesting to see how these guys fare next year and beyond.

Another MVC player that has an outside chance for a pro bowl appearance would be Robert Tonyon from the Packers who played at Indiana St. Tied with league leading 8 TDs for TE with Kelce. 41 receptions in 47 targets. 497 receiving yards which besides Kelce and Waller is up there for TEs

He's a great story too ... played QB as RS freshman at Indiana St.. Moved to WR where he didn't always start. Not drafted. Cut by Lions. Signed by Packers. Year 1 practice squad. Year 2 he had 4 receptions. Year 3 he had 10 receptions and this year breakout.

You know, James O has been in the league as a starting or high PT tight end for the last 5 years in the league. He is quietly one of the best blocking TEs in the AFC. I don't think he gets enough press. I think he was, what, a 5th round pick? How many 5th round picks from 2015 are even still in the league, much less starting?
