Not only a stellar bball player, but she’s an overall gifted athlete. She went out for track and won the Iowa state long-jump title in her class. She was also getting interest for VB in college as well.

High recruit rankings don’t always work out, including for us, but Pratt comes in at a position where we’ll have a lot of minutes to offer.

Coach Gillespie continues to recruit at a very high level. I’ve gone into a panic at the end of the last few seasons because we’ve lost so many terrific players to graduation. But Kristen has hit the trail and found top flight players to keep the program at a high level.

My late friend, used to live about a block or 2 from IWA. I would come down for Arch Madness and stay with him and we would go to every game. I would take my walk and go by that school all of the time. The amount of talent that come from that school is amazing. It's an all girls Catholic High School with out any feeder program. It is a stand alone only High School.
