Some interesting stuff in here. I don't think they are, but if you like basketball stats, this is good stuff.

lol...I love stats...but it was difficult for me to digest the article and numbers.

I feel Valpo's pain.

I watch the Birds play and wonder at times what freakish stat would explain some of the extremes that emerge. Even when Valpo feels like they are being hazed and the newbie...at times I wonder if the Birds are continuously hazed for being who we are.

I am glad Valpo is part of the valley. I miss Creighton and the Shox...(kinda). After 40 years of being a Redbird...I have enjoyed ISU as an independent but hated those Catholic schools that were just a couple of steps above the BIrds during those days. (Notre Dame and DePaul). Instead of enjoying great division 1 competition...the "class" separation within the division started to show its ugly head just comparing those teams that attempted to survive independently.

Then the day of the Independent died and now we have huge separation being privileged conferences.

I use to hate the Mo Valley....but tend to like it more now. I like the group of universities that the Mo Valley has accumulated. I sit here and think the Birds will fare better staying in the Mo Valley. I just wish that the NCAA would only promote a division in sports equally among the membered conferences. If only the Valley could add a couple of power houses to be more equally competitive.
