Dan Patrick said on his show today that he has a source who said the current proposal in the FBS is that there will be 10 games, only one non-con game, it'd have to be regional, and no FCS games. For example, Ohio State would play Akron, Illinois would play Northern Illinois.

When he said, "no FCS games" I think it was just a reference to FBS playing FCS. So, if this goes through this game wouldn't happen.

Not sure where this process is or if its going to happen but DP is typically pretty connected.

The important thing is we get the $450k. These contracts for buy games must be an interesting read right now.

I read an article about Illini athletics being able to return to campus workouts as well. I was wondering the same thing. Does ISU have any plan for the return? I don't know if this is an FBS or FCS thing but if the first game against the Illini goes ahead it would put the Redbirds at an even bigger disadvantage.

The NCAA says June 1 for voluntary workouts. Voluntary workouts. That's a joke. But anyway I've got a feeling with all of the $$$$$ at stake we're going to play at Illinois and the season starts on time. The srason will continue until the second wave hits around Nov. 1 and more people die than in the first wave. Then we go thru this shit all over again. Not that any of that will keep me away from this game.

Timmy, I am going to drink your Kool aid this morning! I am so ready for this game. Do you guys think they will let fans in? If not wondering if you would be allowed to tailgate outside the stadium and watch the game. Thoughts?

Wow this is dumb. It's a football stadium. When it's full you're pack like sardines. When it's half full????? You'll still be surrounded. If you're going to do this, have the stones to just open it up. What a joke.

According to this article, Norte Dame is looking at restricting the number of fans in the ND stadium. The article also stated that Ohio State has said there may be as few fans as 22,000 let into their stadium. We don't know what the environment will become the fall but this is really just window dressing to give a feel-good image. If you have 22,000 people in a confined space there really is no social distancing. You can separate them in the stadium seating but they will be congregating at the concessions stands, restrooms, entry gates, etc., etc. Yes, it is a total and complete joke.
