I’d like a minimum if $20, but would consider watching if they paid me $15 plus a bag of hot Cheetos...oh wait, how much would I pay? My bad...nothing.

If I didn't think I'd get a large ration of crap from my "friends" on the board, I'd admit that I don't think I'd pay that kind of money to watch the Birds play OK. But, I won't go there . . . . . ;)

In all honesty, I would not pay $55 to watch the Super Bowl or FBS National Championship. If the Birds made the FCS Championship then maybe but not for a regular-season game. A few years ago I travelled to South Bend to see the Irish play USC. Tickets were $80 plus travel and other cost but going in person is an experience and Notre Dame is just a great game day experience. Watching on TV? Not worth the money regardless of who is playing. Certainly not to watch Missouri State! get demolished by the Sooners!

for perspective, granted pre-pandemic ... Floyd Mayweather was the pay per view king of all time

2015 Floyd Mayweather v Manny Pacquiao .. $99

2017 Floyd Mayweather v Conor McGregor ... $100

But Oklahoma vs Missouri State ???? Not even Oklahoma vs Missouri would warrant $55 pay per view.

This is price gouging .. plain and simple, except it is not an essential product. But morally, this is just very despicable to be charging this during a pandemic .. why, because they think people are desperate for some entertainment.

But it might also be stupid from profit motive perspective. If they charge just $20, Im guessing they would get a lot more viewers and probably gross and net way more ... and not piss off their fan base to boot.

got 3 pennies, some lint and warm stick of gum in my pocket and that would be to much.

I'll stick w my 2020 adopted team. (Also a cheaper product.)

The University of Central Arkansas, baby! No need to pay 60 bucks when you can watch Breylin Smith and the Bears for free.

So far we're 1-1 heading into next week. Smith and the Bears came from behind in week one and notched a 24-17 victory from Austin Peay. A messy affair all around, but the boys in purple and white got it done in the end. We dropped our second game to UAB on Saturday. Lost 45-35 and looked flat from start to finish.

The madness continues next week as UCA hosts in-state Arkansas State.
