A friend listening to postgame presser noted Pedon referring to Benson as “Bence”.

We’re none of us objective when you get down to it. I opened a brewery if only to encourage friends to learn my name instead of instinctively calling me “D.P.”
Perhaps you can invite Bence and Adunk for some drinks at Fiala Brosefs...and make some peace-loving magic happen.

One thought on Porter, though. He found success at Loyola because kids COMPLETELY bought in...over several years... and accepted their responsibilities and places in/on the team. It truly was thrilling to watch. Gorgeous basketball and team/community environment.

Is that (kids all-in over several years) even possible anymore??

And they played solid positional D without fouling. Defender always seemed to arrive before we even received a pass.

Here's one for the "former Redbirds opponents" thread, one of our favorite formers, one Jim Les. A little tussle breaks out in Santa Barbara. One of the downsides to courtside seating. There's a video embedded in this article:

Jim showing some good wheels sprinting across the court to try and stop it.

And talk about some bias announcing in that clip. Yeesh.
Jim always had good wheels. I am surprised though he didn't flop to draw a charge upon contact.

Former basketball manager and current Big West Commissioner, Dan Butterly, issuing/confirming the suspensions. Here's a shameless plug ... you can listen to the podcast with Mr Butterly if you follow this link. We actually talks about suspensions when we talk about the ISU brawl with Chicago St and subsequent forfeit. Lots of great stories but the Chicago St is 14 minute mark to 19 minute mark

Just watched Arizona vs Arizona State at the Arizona McKale Center. Really awesome game, almost 20 lead changes. Arizona State hit a 3/4 full court length shot at the buzzer to win by 1!!

DJ Horne played a great game, had 16 points and 7 assists, he also had a big 3 pointer with less than 2 minutes to go to give ASU the lead for the first time in awhile.
This was a BIG WIN for ASU because they are a bubble team and Arizona was ranked #7 and was 32-1 at home over the last 2 years before today.

Great, great college atmosphere. I've been to the McKale Center many times for Arizona games.

Watching Kentucky v Auburn. Antonio Reeves is lighting it up.

I watched the game as well, it was on CBS right after Arizona vs. Arizona State. Antonio lit it up in the 2nd half with 18 points, 21 total for the game. He was 4-7 from 3 and hit 3s in back to back possessions from opposite baselines. He played 36 minutes. The announcers spoke very highly of him. Was a fun game to watch, even though it turned into a blow out.

Antonio stunk up the arena tonight. Couldn’t find the ocean from the beach. Missed the final three shots of the game YUGLY!!! Why they kept giving him the ball was a mystery. He had a clean look for the winner and the shot barely drew iron. Ouch!! This is a team who will be exiting stage left early.
