He was hurt the one season he played. Then he blew up in the Worlds and now he's playing at a high level in one of the best European basketball leagues. But yeah, we didn't need him. Glad that bum left us in late summer.
I was being serious, I wish he'd stuck around to develop. Hope you didn't think I was being sarcastic.

Maybe he wasn’t worth a damn here because Muller didn’t know how to coach him.

Played in 21 games during the season, coming off of the bench in each • Averaged 2.7 points, 1.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game on the season • Missed nearly the entire preseason and the first five games of the season with a broken foot • Made his collegiate debut on Nov. 25 against Charleston Southern • Missed the team's next four games with an additional foot injury

HE. WAS. HURT. How many times do we see a player who has an injury coming into a season affect him the entire year? Then comes in healthy the next and production goes way up.

Would've most certainly been the case. Kid averaged over 20 (might have been closer to 30 if memory serves me right), in the FIBA tournament over the following summer. I do think had he stayed, we're having some different conversations. Imagining Fayne, Evans, and Yarbs with a dynamic, explosive PG...man...

But anyway, he stay and wasn't healthy, but it's fun to imagine if he was.

FWIW. They finally updated the roster on the goredbirds site.
This might suggest that everyone else is returning. Looking at the roster with 3 walk-ons and 7 scholarship players (not counting Reeves...who knows what's going to happen with him...)...it needs some work....

Marquette's Shaka Smart will hire Maryland's DeAndre Haynes as an assistant coach. Former Redbird assistant.

Just our luck..late bloomer or Finland basketball is ?.? ...Remember Stallings sending A Fin home early after winning the first game at the Valley Tournament because Marko sp? told the team he was turning pro. He was sent home early and the Birds lost the second game.

Either he’s spelling his name differently . . . or the reporter got it wrong . . . Either way, congrats to one of our all-time greats!

Never understood that move by Stallings. Doesn't every kid want to turn pro? And the timing on Stalling's part...
