Antonio is a helluva player. Good for himFinished with 37 on 12-17 shooting and 11-11 FT.
But will he make Kentucky money?I'm very happy for Antonio. I believe he represented Illinois State with class. Nice polite kid. JMO, and while he had one heck of a game this last wek, he simply is NOT one of the best 10 players in the country. Not even close. He won't get drafted. Could he eventually find a NBA roster? Perhaps down the road, but I don't think so. He'll definitely make some money overseas.
Hahaha excellent question! But will he make Kentucky money?
Antonio Reeves is getting noticed and some accolades
It says not available but I think the link is working
On yesterday's pod, @GaryParrishCBS & @MattNorlander said former @Redbird_MBB guard Antonio Reeves might be considered one of the ten best players in the country
Players to be named later, much later.who did we get when we traded him to Kentucky?
Outside of Reeves that is very telling. Freeman was always good in the OVC but couldn’t step up in level. I think Josiah Strong battled some injuries too. Hope Sy recovers from his injury well and has a big year next year.Antonio Reeves: Kentucky: 14.4 ppg, 2.1 rb, 1.1 assists 42%
Abdou Ndiaye: Seton Hall- DNP
Josiah Strong: Colo State- Only appeared in 7 games, 4.4ppg, 2.4 rb, 1.6 assists, 26%
Howard Fleming: Winthrop: played in 10 games, battled injury- 4.8 ppg, 3.5 rb, 1.4 assists, 28%
Emon Washington: Morehouse College- Off roster
Sy Chatman: Buffalo- DNP
Julian Samuels: Wisconsin-Platteville, Played in 26 games, started 8, 8.3 ppg, 2.5 rb, 1.6 assists, in 19 mpg.
Elijah Williams: Lewis- Played in 20 games, 1.6 ppg, 1.8 rb,
Mark Freeman: Morehead State- 15 ppg, 2.9 rb, 3.8 assists, OVC POY.

I’m happy to see that with Strong, but also sad. Great kid and I’ll always be a fan. Hope he can call his college career on his own terms.Strong has been out much of the year with an illness. Several around the organization, from what I've been able to see, expect him to get a medical redshirt and one more year if he wants it at CSU.
I also believe Howie had a season ending injury mid year.
I always liked him. Hopefully he lands somewhere where he blossomsHoward Fleming Jr. back in the portal.
