We've got other issues today, with the SIU game and all, but I'm sitting here watching the Seton Hall - DePaul game, thinking about Abdou Ndiaye not playing, and I'm thinking, would he have been more help than any of our current 5's on the roster? Would he have been able to see the floor and contribute? He always seemed to have some game, but never sort of had his talents "focused". Just wondering while waiting for other games to start.
I think Chatman is doing medical redshirt at Buffalo this year - so half year off at isu and another year off at Buffalo makes me think he's gonna have a long road back

Think about I how good we would be in the valley this year if it wasn't for turncoats that left the program because they want money .

Morehead State’s Mark Freeman scored 25 (against Little Rock) and 28 points (against Southern Illinois Edwardsville) during the Eagles’ 2-and-0 week. The 5’11 senior is Morehead’s (14-9, 7-3) second winner of the ‘Player of the Week’ award. Alex Gross grabbed the honor after the third week of the season. Freeman ranks in the OVC’s top four in scoring (15.9 ppg), assists (3.6) and free throw percentage (.884).

Closer to home and it's just not happening at Oklahoma so far. The Sooners are 31-27 overall in his two years and in danger of finishing last in the Big 12. The fit, outside of money, never made that much sense.

Haha, I liked Porter as a person. I really wanted him to do well here. Plus, he called me Quinnie so what can I say? :D
A friend listening to postgame presser noted Pedon referring to Benson as “Bence”.

We’re none of us objective when you get down to it. I opened a brewery if only to encourage friends to learn my name instead of instinctively calling me “D.P.”

ND is considering buying out Porter's contract, I would think Porter would love to be closer to home again.
It's one heck of a buyout. At first I thought no way. But the more I started digging...I realize ND is the perfect fit given Porter's life journey. The students would gobble Porter right up. Now, Oklahoma is a fantastic university and it's a top 5 overall athletic program in the country...looking at last 20 or 25 years. It'd be hard to leave that atmosphere. There's a real togetherness at that place.

Despite struggles at OU...the Sooners athletic department and 'supporters' have given Porter every resource to build a monster there...if he wants.

If he really wants it, I'm kinda rooting for Porter to go get ND. Even though it's not a good look to leave a major job after 2 yrs.
