That bike is too small for him. Still his favorite, though. Good grief - what a bunch of b.s.

From Kentucky beat writer . . .
I mean they are looking only at where he came fromQuestioning whether he’s ready for the jump to Kentucky is really stupid. Watch the tape. How would AR be a bigger question than others?
Correct. And that’s stupidI mean they are looking only at where he came from
Will he be the 3rd or 4th option? Sounds like he might be higher than that.I question him at Kentucky. Not that his skill won’t translate, but can he go from being the go to guy to a 3rd or 4th option on the floor? Can he facilitate and play defense not getting the freedom he’s use to? May work out fine.
You'd have to think the NBA "camp" experience would put him in a better place to compete at a higher level, know how to "fit in" and facilitate and get a level of confidence, etc. I think he'll show okay.I question him at Kentucky. Not that his skill won’t translate, but can he go from being the go to guy to a 3rd or 4th option on the floor? Can he facilitate and play defense not getting the freedom he’s use to? He will be at times. Kentucky has too much talent and too many egos to keep in check. Will he be the 3rd or 4th option? Sounds like he might be higher than that.
Agree with this - I never understood why O and JC never made it to the NBA even as defensive specialists coming off the bench. They were more than defense though but just saying. Tone has proven that you can’t ever count him out. Truly amazing the improvement he made from his first two years to his junior year.If you’d have asked after Tone’s frosh year if he would ever be strong enough to even consider the NBA, I would have said “no way.” But his growth since the draft experience mentally, physically, and attitude-wise tells me to not count him out. If he has the drive and puts in the work, he has the potential to be a solid contributor for an NBA team. But I thought the same of O and Jackie. There are guys in the NBA nobody gave a chance. And there are guys who were locks who ever made it.
In the end great thing about this discussion is that we’ll find out by next March/April whether Tone made the right move.
No, you really shouldn't, because he's heading down some rabbit holes on there. I had to unfollow.Speaking of O, if you haven't seen his twitter account lately you should give it a look. He's heading down some rabbit holes on there.
me, too. Conspiracies abounded! No, you really shouldn't, because he's heading down some rabbit holes on there. I had to unfollow.
I fully expect him to start and perhaps even be the 2nd leading scorer on that team. NBA?? Like, a career?? Overseas or D-League? Yes. The league? I would say no. Sooo many things have to go your way. I'd say the odds are against him but make me eat crow, Tone! Will he be the 3rd or 4th option? Sounds like he might be higher than that.
