That's all that I had hoped to hear from you.

Glad to hear you're onboard. There was only so long you could ignore the facts. Larry Lyons needs to go!

I assumed that you have at least the third grade reading comprehension level necessary to understand that my post quoted you agreeing with me rather than vice versa, but perhaps I just insulted third graders.

I don't know why you're getting all defensive, I was agreeing with you as to the lack of leadership in athletic dept fundraising.... but don't worry about it, apology accepted.

Spack mentioned on the radio a few weeks ago that if we do not have an indoor facility in the next two years that we have fallen VERY behind the FCS standard and recruiting will become more difficult.

Illinois State needs a real A.D., so badly.

BU went to the Sweet 16. They have sucked since then. Or are you not claiming it helps athletics?

It's bu. They always suck but their soccer team is fan tas tic.

If there is anyone out there who likes the direction we are heading overall...please, please, please let me know what you see. Maybe you see something I cannot. Maybe my vision is considerably worse than previously diagnosed. Maybe I need to drink some Kool-Aid and experience Redbird nirvana?

I will be VERY disappointed if we re-sign lyons.
I really think the BU football team is top notch.

2 years! What changes in 2 years. You're either ahead or behind. We're behind. Spack says 2 years he's playing politics and not throwing anyone under the bus.

Can’t win for trying. Told I run the board like crap because posts are off topic or in wrong forums, move to a forum that is a better fit and now I have an agenda.

I have no agenda other than run the best board I can. I’m not going to be able to make 500 posters happy and countless others who just read.

Quinn, have you checked the status of the Black Helicopter Go Fund Me I setup for you recently? Getting really close buddy. You 'll be hovering just over the horizon in no time striking down negative comments in style

So I received a call from Redbird athletics on Wednesday asking if I’d be interested in buying season tix for fball as it seems I didn’t renew last year. I told him I had tix with a friend who was higher up the food chain than I was but after further consider we both decided to move our $$$ to academics. I asked what the general feeling was from other Redbird fans and he said he couldn’t answer. I asked how fundraising was going for the indoor practice facility and he said he couldn’t answer. He told me that he would have Chris Highland contact me to discuss my concerns. This was after I told him I would not donate any additional $$$ to Redbird athletics until LL has been removed. I’m fairly confident I won’t be receiving a call. At least we have volleyball and men’s golf to get excited about. Oh, and $7 beers.

If you do want to talk to him, you can at least try social media. His twitter is here: https://twitter.com/cphighland

Thanks, man but at this point it's his job to contact me. He needs to sell me on why I should contribute. I have already contacted Dr. Dietz about my feelings and his response was that he felt things were good so there is no need to make any changes. No effort will be made to change anything if they do not see that anything is wrong. Maybe less donations, fewer butts in the seats, etc. will wake someone up but time will tell.

Seems like, at least early, he's made a good hire with baseball.

Agree and other teams on campus are making turnarounds. Awesome to see women's volleyball in their tournament. Hope our baseball team can keep it up, too. The problem is our two biggest sports are struggling mightily and that is where we either going to sink or swim. The Muller extension could go down as one the worst blunders in ISU athletics history and we know who authored that deal.

One more thing, I was elated with the hiring of Muller. It's the extension and the new contract that I strongly object to. To sign a deal that clearly screws ISU was at best, short sided and at worst, a YUGE freakin' mistake. And now we have the fallout. In the private sector, a mistake of this magnitude would mean someone gets a cardboard box and a new address.

But it's not the private sector. So stop comparing it to that. To most people on this board, his job hangs in the balance of 18-22 yr olds success or failure. Private sector doesn't have that.

Hmmm, there are no private sector businesses that depend on young people? Fast food restaurants for one.

Good grief. Stop beating this dead horse. You want Lyons gone. You want Muller gone. We know. You will twist any comment to fit your narrative.

Please tell me how I’m am twisting a comment? Fast food restaurants in the private sector don’t rely heavily on young people for their survival?

I’ll ask you, how long do we give Muller to turn the program around? It’s been seven years, how many more years? Good grief I can’t believe some people can’t see he’s not getting it done. One more year, two more years, three...

I'm beginning to think you don't like Mueller.
