Interesting. Christian Yelich is on ten-day quarantine for testing positive to COVID-19 even though he has been vaccinated. So why only test those who have not been vaccinated?
Seems obviously that you can get Covid-19 even though you are vaccinated. Which brings up the question of “why do they make a big deal about forcing the vaccine on everyone!

Testing positive after getting the vaccine is very rare. They never said the vaccine was 100% effective. They said it is highly effective and it has been. If you do test positive after vaccination your symptoms are likely to mild, like Yelich.

How in the hell do RB Nigel White and WR Kasper Rutkiewicz still weigh only 165 lbs??? Don't we have a weight training and athlete feeding program!!?? I somewhat kid, but not really. Been in the program a couple, three years, shouldn't they at least be up to 175/180??

The roster has been updated to add in the new players and to remove the players no longer here. They've also updated uniform numbers. It seems they change those more often than they used to. For reasons unknown to me the updating of the weights doesn't come until later. We may not get it until game week. I'm with you, inquiring minds want to know because the weights haven't been updated in ages. Who is going to be our #1 running back? Pha'leak Brown and Nigel White are the top returning candidates. White needed to add some muscle if he wants the top spot. We know he's more than 165 but how much? Also LB'er Cade Campos. He's an up and comer but it's hard to survive the pounding at LB'er if you're only 190. I'm sure he's bigger by now but how much? 200? 210? 220? Coach Spack is legendary for wanting to know this information. He's not the only one.

11 WRs on roster. I know that TEs often become OL, but other than transfering ...when was the last WR converted to DB?

I don't know if he was the last one but Mitchell Brees went from WR to Safety and before him Ben Ericksen did it. Not too often but it happens.

The difference is that if you're vaccinated and are infected, the illness is very mild or--more likely--you're asymptomatic.

Any word on if they are doing the red-white scrimmage open to the public?

Something like 96-99% of covid patients in hospitals or dying are unvaccinated. Putting aside J&J vaccine, the other 2 are doing what they advertised . protecting you from getting sick or dying.

But yes, vaccinated people can still catch and transmit covid (i.e. asymptomatic or very minor symptoms), just much less likely to do so than the unvaccinated. So yes, agree with notion that vaccinated players should also be subject to periodic testing, though maybe less often than unvaccinated players.

you can still get the flu after a flu vaccine. Especially when unexpected variants arise. But it will be much less intense. If the government were trying to chip us all for tracking purposes (speaking of tracking chips, I'm guessing you carry one around regularly already with your phone) then why not just put it in the secret sauce at McDonalds? And I've yet to hear it explained how exactly , with multiple doses in one vial, that they are able to extract only one chip each time they take a draw? Odd, you'd think maybe someone got double chipped and didn't get one. Now I'm sorta mad

I guess now is not the time to give up on Rogers at WR, he's had injuries. Maybe this is his year to get some playing time. Another player coming back from injury is Wedig at LB'er. He's a taller LB'er and that should help dropping into coverage. They must like how he looks because he was mentioned ahead of Bellizzi who is a talented run stuffer. I really like the depth at LB'er.

The roster has been updated with player weights. https://goredbirds.com/sports/football/roster

Nigel White went from 165 to 175. That will work, he's fast but he runs with authority too. One of the most dramatic gains went to Cody Zugenbuehler, a backup nose tackle. He went from 255lbs. to 305. Julian Haynie has to be the biggest cornerback in Redbird FB history at 225.
Great work(y)

Thank you Jesus. 5'9, 175 for White seems okay. Kacper is also up to 175. Maybe they're wearing flack jackets, but I can live with it.
