We are in good hands w/Pedon. If you're the young man from Yorkville and listening to everyone's pitch....-what better input
than from current players who says this Coach and staff speak the TRUTH. And, in this young man's case, you're something
less than 2 hours away from fam who can load up the tractor/wagon and head south for every game.

Nice win for the team. Burford fits, Knight really progressed over the season, Lewisis consistent again and the Sandage
3 - everyone seemed so happy for the graduates.

I personally enjoy the Entertainment Value of Redbird Basketball and planning on better win/loss records ahead.

Go Birds!

I said it at the time to those around me, but I think that senior day ceremony will loom large for recruiting. They heard first hand what ISU has meant to the seniors. Even two that were only here one year, this place had an impact on them. After the game/handshake line, Judson went over to where Roman and Jakstys was sitting and waved them down to the court. He and Dak spent the whole ceremony with the two. Jakstys and his dad were really engaged talking with Jud.

Watching the videos during the ceremony, I couldn't help but think about these moments in the future. When the video team has (hopefully) four years of Ty Pence highlights to pull from. I really enjoyed the care that went into the senior day stuff. So much more genuine than a simple introduction of the player, walk to mid court, and framed jersey presentation. Kudos to Coach P for bringing a tradition from OSU with him.

As for the game, I'm glad the Birds pulled it out but at the end of the day, Evansville is 1-19 in the conference for a reason. UNI will put up much more of a fight Thursday afternoon. Born may or may not be injured, so that will be something to keep an eye on. I know it's unlikely for a variety of reasons, but how great would it be to send BU home by 2 p.m. Friday afternoon?

Kendall Lewis with his 5th double double in the last six games ... thats the consistency we need from him.
Maybe he was motivated by this ‘fan’ account.

Nice win to close out the season. Supposed to win the game and handled it without question.

The Birds clearly have more collective talent than Evansville, and it showed. Unfortunately Evansville is the only team we can make that claim against in Conference right now. Here’s to hoping next year we leapfrog a few teams in that department. Glad to hear the ceremonies were well done too.

I mean that account wasn’t wrong at the time. Kendall was awful for about a month. I’m glad he figured it out.

I’m glad he got it going again too. He’s been more good than bad in a redbird uniform. I guess it’s more disappointing that there are people who will turn on the players like that. Nature of the beast I guess.

Looking at that account I probably wouldn’t take anything it does seriously.

I always love a W. When we shoot well and it makes up for the multitude of turnovers and our guard's inability to stop dribble penetration to the basket. Those issues were with us all year and I cannot say we improved much during the season.

That being said, I am heading to STL hoping to get a nice W on Thursday and give PU hell like we did in Ptown.
