He is only 18, they draft so much on potential. Some of these could use experience and growing up before going to the NBAEmoni Bates reminds me of Jereme Richmond from U of I. All the talent but just out there without a care in the world.
What idiot said this?In a close game like this, at the end the talent takes over. Watch out for Bates.
It’s a hamstring issue but sounds like chances are good for Saturday.Well we would be difficult team to scout because who knows who will step up. Sandage plays 5 minutes and then scores 28 minutes the next game.
Luke played great defense and Lewis was stellar. Johnson, Schmidt, and Kotov all contributed.
Really cut down the turnovers after the first 8 minutes.
Hope MP and LM are healthy soon. I heard MP had a groin issue but not 100% sure
It’s a hamstring issue but sounds like chances are good for Saturday. Liam rolled his ankle pretty good hopefully he can get back soon too.
18 pounds? Dude made McC look like SchwarzeneggerHe is only 18, they draft so much on potential. Some of these could use experience and growing up before going to the NBA
I just don't get why we worry about last year's team... we turned the page.Furthermore last year’s team would never have won this game.
Almost all of us idiots. What idiot said this?
I don't recall winning a game with such unlikely lineup pairings on the floor since the overtime shocker at Ole Miss in 2017 (Gassman/Hein/Williams/Tinsley/Evans).Well let’s see. One starter out. Real size plays 3 minutes. One starter in foul trouble. A walkon plays significant minutes and contributes. We turn it over 7 times in first 8 minutes but end up with only 12. The other team makes 11? baskets in a row yet we win. I don’t care if it’s against the school of the blind. I will happily take it. Furthermore last year’s team would never have won this game.
I was not impressed whatsoever with Bates. Tried to put on a pre-game show (several of their players did...why blow all that energy in warm ups??? It's a WASTE)...clearly thinks highly of his own game...took mostly ridiculous shots...imo cost his team the game. He also looks to be about 180lbs. Yes he's long and lanky but opposing teams should take his a$$ to the post and railroad him. I do realize I'm criticizing an 18 yr old, which is mighty big of me. It's clear you're highly thought of, kid. Capitalize on your opportunity and come to games with a good attitude. You didn't tonight.Emoni Bates wasn’t on the court the balance of the game after Kasubke stripped him at half court around 90 seconds left. It looked like Bates had no interest in playing tonight. Would run away from him if I was an NBA Scout.
Absolutely on both counts. Simply put and well put. The crowd was engaged tonight.Winning. Is. Fun.
The team is getting better.
Dammit! I fell asleep again. When were we supposed to turn the page? And what page are we on?I just don't get why we worry about last year's team... we turned the page.
I think Hulka was closer on Bates' weight.I was not impressed whatsoever with Bates. Tried to put on a pre-game show (several of their players did...why blow all that energy in warm ups??? I think you're right.I think Hulka was closer on Bates' weight.
