His offensive skills were better than his defensive skills. I liked his hustle and that will be missed. In all honestly, I always pictured him as a good role player. I am hoping that he is leaving because some recruits are on the way.

I am surprised by Texas and USC. Beard from Texas demands defense and Dusan does not seem like a good match. He played great against Murray St and they could use a presence in the middle against some of the Belmont kids.

Belmont struggles with Murray State because they have too many guys like Dusan who are not athletic. Belmont can really only outscore teams and their slow kids can’t guard athletes. When Belmont plays against athletes, they get exposed. Dusan would only serve to neutralize Murray’s advantage over Belmont.

By my vpunt, Belmont is is 7 - 3 against Murray the past 5 years and 2 - 0 last year. Belmont very much utilizes 3 point shooting supplemented with large interior guys getting easy buckets when the floor opens up. Murray has struggled with the interior presence in my opinion.

I agree that Murray's teams are more athletic than Belmont but disagree that Belmont has been struggling with Murray

My bad. I was thinking Morehead State. But I’ll stand by my scouting report on Belmont. They can only win by outscoring teams. If they have an off night offensively, they can’t defend. That said, at least they have one way to win a game, so they are ahead of ISU in that regard.

Didn’t waste any time updating Dusan roster status on goredbirds. Was he liked by his teammates.

Wonder why he took so long to decide? The girlfriend theory at least makes sense. I figure if Sy can get his head on straight then he'll be a much better player. But can you even count on him knowing he'll have Dan over a barrel.
