Does the Redbird Offense keep opposing DCs up at night?

Is there any reason or any player on our offense that would concern any of the other Valley teams DCs?? I do not think so. I wish someone would ask Coach Spack, since he is such a defensive minded coach - if he were going to play the Redbirds, what concern or players who he be worried about defending? Stuff the run and make them beat you with the pass - no worries about any difficult formations or motion.

Great question. JR would have kept me up. Tre would have given me nightmares. Dual-threat. Coprich Laurent. A great Oline.
Great talent kept me up.
No scheme would keep me up if it didn't have talent behind it.
A scheme they haven't shown on film could be a problem, but that's an in-game adjustment.

If I was an opposing DC my concern wouldn't be anything to do with formations or motion. It would be a concern that the Redbirds would put together a full game.. The offense lit things up in the first half against Mo. St. We needed to get vertical and stretch the defense and we did. A 59-yard completion to Nagel, a 75-yard TD pass to Khepra. There were 2 more TD passes to TE's. We've been calling for that for years. Three TD passes were followed by 3 INT's. The OC's didn't suddenly get stupid. The execution wasn't there and it was a group effort. QB Waring threw passes he should not have thrown. WR Rogers needs to do a better job of high pointing the ball. If he can't make the catch, he at least needs to bail out his QB by breaking up the INT. The O-Line needs to protect better.

Khepra is a sophomore, Waring is a freshman. We've made the choice to be young so we just need to wait and see if our youthful players can gel and put together a full game.
