We could use some good news so this is timely and welcome. The NCAA has endorsed rules changes that allow college athletes to earn money for the use of their name, likeness and image. That's a needed change but many athletes wouldn't know where to begin or they might need to help to evaluate an offer for fairness. We won't have a lot of athletes profiting from their likeness but would have some. We would also have some former players that could apply this knowledge to a pro career. I don't know if stores in Jacksonville, FL are selling James Robinson jerseys yet but if he keeps up his pursuit of the Rookie of the Year award they will. I think he would have appreciated this type of instruction. Our Athletic Dept. is out on the front end of this one so a round of applause is due for getting this done.
