I'm a little late in posting this, but our local weekly had an item several weeks back about a HS senior who has committed to ISU for 2018/19 (ie. he graduates in May 2018).
Nick Herbst from McFarland, Wisconsin is the kid. He was a very solid player for a decent smaller school in a town just outside Madison (sort of a small town that has grown into a suburb, so to speak). 6'2, 175 pounds, he's played catcher, pitcher and outfield. Played quite a bit as a sophomore when a friend of the family was a senior, so I saw him play a few times then. He's a good wide out on their football team too.
