STATEMENT FROM COLORADO STATE ATHLETICS
Colorado State head football coach Mike Bobo is currently undergoing medical evaluation after recently experiencing numbness in his feet.

STATEMENT FROM HEAD COACH MIKE BOBO:
"I recently began to experience numbness in my feet. After our second scrimmage on Saturday night it was determined by doctors that I should be admitted to the hospital to undergo further testing. I feel very encouraged by the test results to this point and hope to have some answers soon. I also feel very encouraged about our 2018 CSU Football team. We have excellent coaches and excellent leadership in this program, and I have full confidence that they will continue to have tremendous preparation on and off the practice field for as long as I must be away. My family and I appreciate all of the great care and support we are receiving."

STATEMENT FROM DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS JOE PARKER:
"I want to express my care and concern for Mike Bobo and his family at this time. Our first priority is to focus on Mike's health and well-being, and to support that process in every way we can. I share Mike's confidence that we have tremendous leadership in our football program, and that the coaching staff will continue to successfully guide the team through practices and meetings while he is away."

Coach Bobo has been transferred to a Denver hospital. This seems ominous. I wish him well.

Wishing him the best and hopefully only something like diabetes and not ALS or MS

This is not a stuck up question but a sincere one. Does Coach Bobo (what a name!) have ties to ISU?

Watching CSU vs HI. CSU has a fast-paced offense and a cupcake defense. Opposite of ISU historically.

Hard to even know what to make of this game, as both teams gained more than 600 yards.

CSU is very offensive minded program but lost a lot of their offense from a year ago .. going to guess their offense was top 20 in FBS last year. They beat 3-9 Hawaii on road a year ago by 30 .. this year they lost at home 43-34. Hers the thing about Hawaii... they were 3-9 .. lost 8.1 starters on offense and 5.9 on defense. I'm liking our chances more and more. But 3 months from now, and if we win, the FBS win won't look anywhere near as impressive as Northwestern ... but it would significantly help selection committee not get too hung up on the STX win.

So we have a real chance to win this game.

Posted this on another thread .. but CSU lost 8.0 offense starters and 6.1 defense. We lost 2.5 on offense and 6.6 on defense. So even though we only have 2 official full time returning starters on defense, we apparently rotated more than I realized on defense.

Liking our chances more and more. Though you can bet with their head coach missing time, this threw prep off a fair amount for their opener ... so they will like be getting better over next 4 weeks leading up to our game.

Watched much of the game last night. Hawaii’s Quarterback played great, and the Rams were susceptible to the qb’s scrambling, shuffle passes and general aytypical play calling. Colorado state may have played the worst game of the year in week one. I think they will be much better in the coming weeks even though they are playing much better competition. Either way, it seems Brady Davis has a great game to watch in order to prepare for them.
