Verbal Commits has Chatman listed as "Left-Team". I don't know if this was a recent change or not. Verbal tends to be pretty accurate and up-to-date. For reference, Keith Fisher was never listed as "Left-Team". He was instead, recently updated as "Transferred" when he entered the transfer portal.

He's been gone since he "opted out." Muller mentioned a couple weeks ago during a coach's show that "as of now...." they're looking to fill two scholarships- Chatman and Fisher.

Thanks. I figured/hoped he was gone, but did not know it was confirmed.

Interesting to say the least - “Sy Chatman's name is still in the portal, although Muller said the 6-foot-8 forward could return.“

If somehow, he can play hard and stay out of the doghouse, (not likely), Sy is a difference maker. He is much better than Abdou.

If he got his act together he could be a real boost. We're going to have a talent deficit next year; almost like it might be better for both Muller and him if he stayed. He's definitely damaged goods which other programs are going to be onto. Maybe he just needs a good counselor? I wonder what the opportunity cost is in letting him have another chance. It's not look he'll be taking the place of a future stud. You can't let him be a cancer, so he'll have to dealt with pronto, but he's got to realize he's almost out of opportunities. I just think Muller and him are equally desperate at this point. I'd feel different if the young man got into legal issues, but it seems it's just his attitude. I could be wrong though. I'd just like to see him come thru and finally turn it around and play up to his potential. A win win for everybody.

I'm sure twenty years from now he'll realize how he really blew it.

I mean . . . we don’t have a bad attitude guy on the roster yet for next year, do we? Dan seems to think he needs one every year.

I'd sell my soul for a talented player. I guess I'd run this program like Al Davis, which means I shouldn't be allowed on any college campus.

Can any of our transfer portal gurus check if he is currently in the portal or not?

Some guys figure things out late. WTF can it hurt at this point?
Based on the guys beating down the door to get here it’s worth it. He’s talented, needs to get his head right. Hopefully his time away woke him up.

Dan will turn him around! His track record speaks for itself. He just didn't have any other options I bet.
