From the limited video I've seen on him, he does remind me of Krutwig a bit. Similar body type and similar footwork, which is what made Krutwig such a pain to deal with.

I'd love to see him develop more post moves, and continue to frame himself down to about 270ish with more muscle he could be a force offensively, and be a pain to deal with.
Nice video on the Pantagraph page. Fun game. He's got decent footwork and grabs rebounds strongly. He's no gazelle. Needs to drop some weight. Somewhere around where 34 white is (twin coke machines anyone?) or a little north of him. Gillespie needs to get on recruiting the halftime talent.

Can't wait to see the battles between Liam and Chase

All kidding aside they should compliment each other when on the floor together

I do think he could be a solid left tackle if he liked football. 6'9 330 with that foot work, just think.
I have a feeling he will be one those guys that switches to football after his senior season. No way he goes nba but possible he gets to nfl. Can't wait to see him under the basket

COKE MACHINE! Thank you Coach! No more bean poles down low. I love me some Phil Fayne (Remember how incredibly good Phil was?!), but BOY do I love a guy that eats up giant amounts of space and you MUST create contact with to keep away from the net. I didn't even look up his stars or anything before typing this. You need this down low to compete.
In looking him up, he is 17, 6'9'' and 330. I'm guessing he will probably arrive on campus around 6'10'' 315. Get him in the gym and turn 40 lbs of baby weight into 20 lbs of muscle and you have yourself a monster.

In a perfect world, he somehow finds another inch and, like others have said, drops 20-30+ lbs and gains a step or two. Physically, he'd be plenty imposing and difficult to deal with as a strong, athletic 6'10" 295/300. Development-wise, (also in a perfect world), he becomes another Dinma with steady, noticeable improvement every game, every season. By the time the kid is a junior, he's just crushing people. Of course, if he does develop that way then there's not an iceball's chance in Hell he stays here all 4 years with the portal the way it is, but we can hope.

A monster who can dance! I love how write-up on Chase highlights his surprising footwork - including a comment of his about how opposing guards think they can blow by him, but find they can’t.

Just think of how many calzones he can eat and keep feeding him the calzones.
