Dan came into the conversation late, but the word is if Anthony Grant hadn't been a highly thought of alum...he would have been offered the job. Grant was the frontrunner from the get go - but they took a hard look at Dan.I have no clue how far he got in the process. I know contact was made.
This is a finicky business with timing and breaks.

Yep you can see the impacts when we lost certain assistant coachesJust looking at that list the talent level really dropped off.

Agree there would have been more opportunities thsn just Dayton.I really believe that if the Redbirds would have made the Tournament in 2017 and won a couple games, Dan would probably have been gone.
