We were already there with Emon Washington . . .
Yep and also Madison Williams in recent years. We seem to recruit heavily in Southeast... Florida, Georgia, NC, Tennessee, and Kentucky and limited recruiting in Northeast and Texas it's border states.

Feels like a kid that's going to go HM. His unofficial visits this summer so far have been to Georgia and Ole Miss. Regardless of basketball skill...a 7'0 240lb 18 year old....they say you can't teach size.

Bird Friend and I discussed it on another thread but GA basketball talent seems to be growing rapidly and surely, ISU is getting some more visibility in the area due to Coach Johnson. Let's see if they can land some of these kids.

This would be a good get. The valley is really becoming a big man league and this kid has the body of big man.

Just a general observation/question. I wonder when kids like Braden are getting recruited by a slew of MM and one P5...how many of the MMs are saying, "Sure you could go to the P5 and be just another guy, or you could come here, and be THE guy." Seems like most would take that tactic. Recruiting is a wild game. Coaches have to find a way to be creative.

I'd like to know if schools compare themselves to other schools. Especially in conference. Are we like "Bradley has these guys all coming in to compete with playing time, but we don't" type of thing. Or Southern IL doesn't have this major or isn't very good at that major but we are.

I'd love for some recruit to record all the conversations with coaches and then make a documentary about it.
