I'd say wing. Over 17 ppg at SJSU, "power forwards" don't fill it up like that in today's game. I think the day of a power forward is gone and we're in the world of a "stretch 4" and "wing" to define the 3/4 spot.I forget where, but I saw him listed somewhere at 6'-6" and 235; would he project as a power forward?
Sorry about the duplication of the question from a prior post. I'm not really THAT anxious to get the question answered; just a sloppy duplication by me.
Seneca has 1 year left, right?
That's his name in my head...to the point that I had no idea who the thread was about when I saw the subject. I have a few months to drill "Knight" into my brain. How long until someone on here calls him "Wallace."
We've gone smaller.Another guy that can fill it up and has some size. I am wondering if we don't go small with Lewis and McChesney is front and Knight on the wing.
So far, Pedon has stuck to his words from his press conference. At this point, I have no reason to believe he won't continue to do so. That said, the roster he's put together as of now, doesn't have a guy who can "play through the post."Another guy that can fill it up and has some size. I am wondering if we don't go small with Lewis and McChesney is front and Knight on the wing.
He only has one year left so we don’t have to worry about him ditching us for another schoolI trust the new coaching staff and we certainly need more talent wherever we can find it, but Knight might stretch the limits of the commitment culture that Coach Pedon preaches. At San Jose State in 2019-20, he averaged 17 points and 6 rebounds and had 3 30 point games (30 against UNLV; 34 against Nevada and 37 against Colorado State. He then exercised his NCAA COVID opt out right for the 2020-21 season (I have no problem with that); then entered the transfer portal and went to LSU (he is a Louisiana native), but before ever playing for LSU, he re-entered the draft portal and headed to BYU.
