Not sure why the Birds haven't offered yet. Offutt and Pedon have followed for a long time and he is starting to blow up. He visited OSU back in February and took a photo with Pedon. In the last week, he's landed offers from Akron, Longwood, Buffalo, NIU, Bowling Green, Drexel, JMU, St. Bonnie, Campbell, Towson, Lehigh, Kent State and as of this morning, Northwestern. Seems to be a three level scorer that can finish through contact.

Could be that there is an offer, we just don't know about it. We didn't know we had an interest, let alone an offer, for Chase Walker until he verballed. It could be that Pedon is taking seriously the stipulation that he not recruit someone OSU was recruiting while he was still there. Could be that Barkley has his sights set on OSU and is just waiting for their offer, and Pedon knows that. Could be that an offer is coming soon. Who knows?

I would agree with you that Coach Pedon is not allowed to recruit players that were being recruited by Ohio State prior to his accepting the Redbirds HC position. Maybe/hopefully OSU will pass on him and Coach Pedon will get the ok from Chris Holtmann to extend an offer.
