Hey Redbird fans

After several trips to St Louis and reminiscing about Redbird basketball, we decided to take the plunge and start a podcast. We know that this vogue and lots of people are starting podcasts about all different things. Our goal is to provide a little insight, tell some great stories, and provide some exposure to entertaining guests from the Redbird basketball world.

Former ISU player, Jon Pemberton, will emcee and co-host with two fans that have a serious Redbird basketball addiction. Once you get past our opening banter, our goal is to have have lots of ex-players and other personas around the program to join, tell a few tales, and offer their perspectives. We are starting with with ISU men's basketball because that's where we have contacts and stories; however, we will see where this journey takes us and are open to possibly expanding in other ISU sports.

Our first podcast is up and ready for your viewing pleasure. We will be posting weekly over the next four weeks and shift to a monthly schedule until we get closer to the start of the season. We have some ideas for future podcasts, but welcome your feedback (go easy) and suggestions. Let us know if there are folks you would like to hear and we will see what we can do. Our first guest is Dan Muller the player ..... yes the player not the coach. We hope you enjoy it.

BirdFans4Ever - Episode 1 - Overview of the Transfer Portal - Hear Dan Muller talk about ISU-Tennessee game and much more.

Great job, looking forward to more episodes!

We kicked this idea around back in the day too before podcasts were completely a thing, but the closest we got was a few special WZND segments and Vidette articles focusing on hoops, fandom, and certain students who even changed their minor because an exam conflicted with a home game. :)

Changing your major not acceptable .... minor very acceptable

We just posted our second podcast. In this episode we talk about coach Pedon's vision and our special guest is Kyle Cartmill .... the other half of the famous last second layup against Tennessee. Listen to hear Kyle's inspiration for his game winning 3 point shot against Green Bay and much more. Listen closely and you may hear Mr Pemberton tip our hand for our third guest.

We hope you enjoy and as always we welcome your feedback. We are lining up our 4th guest but are open to your suggestions.

I did so proudly and without hesitation.
My wife and I in College: Changed majors multiple times and currently neither of us work in the field we got a degree in.

Us to our son in college: You need research jobs, pick a major and stick to it!

Jarrod Coleman '86 - '90 was a former teammate of Jon Pemberton. Tune in to hear them reminisce about the worse call in their playing career and you may even hear a story about playing for Bob Donewald

Another great episode!
