Lofton - Muller and his big ego, couldn't figure out how to coach him. Bobby Knight approach drove away his most talented player on the roster. A la the way he handled Tyler Brown in his first year.

Yes - Cant wait to see what street ball talent Dan finds in the juco ranks this time around. These are not the players who we should be targeting. Sorry.
What constitutes street ball?

Ever seen a street ball game? Go to your local park, I am sure it will help. No defense, undisciplined players. Guys who would rather go 1 on 1 and take horrible shots than to play team oriented basketball. Actually, just re-watch this last edition of the ISU mens basketball team. It's on full display.

Are you and ricohill related? Friends? Just curious...

Friends. Part of a group of ISU fans. I’m not that close to Jamar, but Jamar and Trey are good friends (and not the same person).

I’m not that close with them, but on a group text of ISU fans.

Lofton played defense, but he'd meet many of your criteria.

I wouldn't mind getting in on that.

I'm on that group text, too. It's a fun group. Jammie, Trey, Jsn, NY Girl, DougCollins20 (although he/she had a breakdown), redbirdalum15, name any player or ISU reference with a number and the whole gang of "colleagues" is there. Oh yeah and Hulka69. Our last conversation was regarding who is going to make the raisin nut bread this time??

Jamar, we are so close to greatness. We just need Dan Muller to get better recruits during a pandemic than he’s ever gotten before and suddenly figure out how to coach. It’s all coming together.

You don’t think Reeves and Horne were good recruits? You don’t think Fleming and Washington are good recruits?

I think they are good. I’m not picking on Horne or Reeves. I think it’s absurd to think that Horne is good enough to carry the team. Most on here are making him out to be the savior. It’s the insane expectations on here that drive me nuts.

I have no idea on Fleming or Washington. I know they didn’t have many top programs recruiting them so I find it hard to believe they come in right away and take over the MVC.

The issue is the roster is a disaster again. It’s year 9 under Muller and there is no direction. I know the recruiting landscape has changed, but we are hoping for a miracle late in the recruiting season to have a respectable team.

I believe the good teams can work the ball from the inside/out! If you are working the ball outside in...you are going to struggle!

Go to four seasons! That’s close enough! You will never touch the ball!

Going back to a comment a few pages ago, I like the Belcher hire. Good things were said about him at Indiana State. I have heard he relates well to the players and knows his basketball. It doesn't seem like he, nor Reese have very big roles during the games though.

Didn't we beat Tulsa the last 2 times we played?

Sure did! We played them twice in the 2017-18 non-conference. Once in a tourney and once at RBA.
