Are we sure WSU is happy? The AAC is losing teams now and travel is much further than it was before. Especially with COVID, I'm sure teams would rather stay closer to home now. If I were the MVC and looking for a 12th, then my first call would be WSU.

That’s where we differ Quinn. My very last call after a very long delay would be to those sniffling arrogant snobs. Life is much better without them.

Also, the next few weeks will tell us more about the AAC. I’m not convinced yet that conference is on it’s death bed. If it does die, that’s just fine. Let WSU die with it.

I find it hard to believe that Air Force and Colorado State will make up the loss. Sure, both have pretty good programs but they're just not on the same level. I could see Wichita joining the A-10 or wait for the Big East or both. MVC isn't even an option if they leave the AAC

Be interesting to know what their total athletic budget is. They have 11 sports and ISU has 17 and one is football that cost a lot. Dilution of money over more sports.

This league just got even better. ISU needs to get right as avoiding Thursday just got a lot more difficult.

As they should. The AAC really doesn't offer them much of anything, outside increased travel costs. The MW should now try to get Gonzaga into the fold as their current conference is a bit underwhelming.

Oh good Lord no. They are not coming back and don’t even want to. They are happy where they are and in all honesty I’m just as happy they’re gone.
I appreciate your point...but Marshall leaving helps.

They still have the most delusional and rude fan base of any team in the MVC in the past 25 years at least.
I remember getting a stare down from a couple husky shocker ladies after Daishon Knight hit that dagger in St Louis. Thought I'd get a beating in the concourse. That game is still my favorite arch madness memory.
