I wore my captains hat and sweater. Front row center. It was AWESOME!!! Muskrat ❤
I knew you would give me a response to make me laugh. There were plenty of good concerts in the 70s and many of those groups are still playing today. Even though they aren't the same, I appreciate their concerts even more.

Yep. Unfortunately covid stole some twilight touring years but they're coming back. Saw Dave Mason and Marshall Tucker recently. Mason can still wail.

So they bring in the coach at half the salary the previous coach was making, eight players have transferred out and he signed a bunch of guards that means a hell of a lot of three-point shots to be competitive, add some Walk-Ons, some bigger guys that couldn't make the starting roster every game and a water boy. That's worth $50

The best show in the history of the United States was George Thorogood & The Destroyers at the Lafayette Club.
Was there for that one. Loved that all I had to do was turn around and walk 5ft to the bar to grab another beverage. I think between that night and the Ted Nugent concert @ the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC back in 1978 are the reasons I can’t hear my wife when she’s talking to me.

Engelbert Humperdinck??

Lulu opened for Engelbert.

My "bucket list" artist was Bob Seger. His retirement/farewell tour was interrupted in 2017 when he had spinal surgery, but the tour resumed in 2019 and I saw him at the United Center in October of that year. His hair was mostly white (he was 74 at that time) and he obviously didn't have the stage energy that he had 40 years ago, but the vocals were Still the Same (groan).

Rocking out with AC/DC from the 5th row at Horton did in my ears.

Dang, RedbirdSoxFan, you've had some travels. Gypsy? Or nomad?

Saw Thorogood at the State Fair, on the track. Stallings played a gee-tar on CBS NCAA tournament game telecast (or something like that) a few years ago.

But nothing beats this:

Nugent was back when I was in the Air Force station in North Carolina. Saw Heart at the San Diego Sports Arena when I lived in San Diego. Might be a Nomad?

Saw Heart at Horton. They fronted John Cougar ( Mellencamp). Heart was far better, prolly cuz Cougar (Mellencamp) played a limited number of his own stuff and covers of a lot of other bands’ stuff. Most of us weren’t there to hear him play whatever the hell he felt like playing. We wanted to hear his stuff live. But Ann and Nancy killed it!

Muller was making $1 million per year?? I must have missed that. Do you even know what Pedon's annual salary is going to be?
