Never much "atmosphere" at any Thursday night games!!! Relatively small crowd.

UNI really seems to be intent of minimizing possessions in this game. I guess it’s working, as they are leading. I don’t think it’s Loyola’s defense, but UNI has had 3 last second of the shot clock prayers go unanswered. Limiting possessions and shortening the game may be a good strategy, but have to get better looks than desperation chucks at the end of the clock. Good strategy for limiting fatigue of playing last night also. Of course, we probably could not use this strategy, since we can’t hang onto the ball for 30 seconds.

Loyola makes you work hard on the defensive end.

If you milk the clock on the offensive end, you have to defend less.

Loyola looks cold like they did against us, but they'll come back

Feel free to raise your arm and close out on that last Loyola 3, Carlson.

If you are Drake and Bradley - you have to be happy to see that Loyola had to play hard all 40 minutes. Reminds me of the Loyola-WSU game two years ago.

Bradley in trouble.

If Drake wins I will be eager to see if Ben Richardson can slow down Timmer. If he can't I think Loyola might be in trouble.

Good competitive and entertaining games so far. Waiting for the first blowout stinker of a game. Hmmmm.
