After attending a game at Kentucky I thought it was really cool that prior to kick off UK had a run down of all the Kentucky alums currently in the NFL on the video screen. Why don't we do something like this? We have a few Redbirds in the NFL and a little recognition for them and the program would not be bad. This would also show the casual fan that ISU football produces NFL players. Sounds like a win/win. Thoughts...

Not a bad idea .. they could add it to the legends video as part of the intro and would only have to edit it once a year .. show the player in a Redbird uniform play then in their NFL uniform.

I believe they could edit this as needed. We only had five home games this year so it shouldn't be that hard. If a Redbird gets signed later in the year, then let's make sure he is acknowledged for it.

Expanding on this idea .. BJ Bello spot should show 3 pieces ... one in Brown's uniform, one in Redbirds uniform, then one more in U of I uniform .. except the U of I play would show him standing on the frickin' sidelines next to the vindictive idiot former Coach Bill Cubit that pushed him off their roster.
But I digress into yet another hostile tangent .. yet again for me ... but a sincere thank you to Bill Cubit .. so there's that happy thought.
