Such a great thing to gloat about.
I'm not gloating because he's leaving I'm calling out the idiocy of posters on here saying his military dad telling him to stay because of values. its laughable. honestly, one of the dumbest things I've read on here. like any good parent wouldn't tell their child to do what's in the best interest of their future. of course the dad was always going to tell him to better his chances. and ISU isnt it.

I don’t think his parents would push him to leave. They did enjoy ISU, but as with any supporting family I’m sure they helped make the best decision for him. Zero ill will towards them or DJ.
As the parent of a D1 athlete that routinely drives 6-8 hours to watch my kid play, I’m sure the Horne’s are delighted with this development.

Why wouldn’t you be. If your son is on the current squad...do you think he is going to have a chance to play in the NCAA tournament under Dan Muller the next 3 years? Why waste your time? I know many don’t want to hear this. If the AD isn’t willing to spend the money this year...he is going to use the same excuse until Muller’s contract expires. I get it- ISU wants to save the buyout money. At this rate the AD is not only going to have to build the team from ground level- but the fan base too.

Adunk do you know any schools that are on him? I would assume he is looking to step things up.
The problem with Yesofu was he was going back to the 6th man role. He’s not better than Penn and Drake is basically returning everyone. He probably wants to be a starter. Idk how far he can transfer up and be a starter immediately.

D1 Transfer Portal goes over 1200 today with more continuing to enter every day.

250 D1 transfers have announced their new destination. Not all went to another D1/some transferred down.

Plenty of dudes still available.

FWIW, I read that his uncle, Ed Conroy, former assistant at Minny, interviewed for HC at Utah State. Was said at least part of his reason to transfer to Minny specifically was to play for uncle. Robbins I'm talking about.

Updated: Yesufu to Kansas.

I can say, I was not expecting that. Can anyone think of any other MVC players that transferred to a Blue Blood?

Depending on if you consider them a Blue Blood or not (some do, some don't) we had Nick Zeisloft to Indiana
