Just one man's opinion, but I think Purdue's Harms is a soft, whiny, hot-headed little bitch. He's probably leaving not as much due to "a desire to win", as Adunk33 suggested, but because big-assed Trevion Williams beat him out for the starting 5-spot this year. 7'3, 4.6 rebounds per game.

Now, would he make the Redbirds a better team? I might have to say for sure. But I don't like the guy one bit.

So you’re saying he and Wichita State are a match made in heaven?

Two suspensions = DUI in Sept. 2019, and driving w/o a license in February 2020.

Had I known the general freak out this would cause, I wouldn't have posted this bit of information. That said we should remember that an expression of interest is purely an announcement of intent to pursue the due diligence required when looking at certain players. If you've paid any attention to the lists of those we've shown interest in and those we've actively recruited, you'll notice that we express interest in FAR more than we actually actively recruit.

So . . . maybe we hold off on the freak out until we know for sure we're actively recruiting him. Keep in mind, we need bigs, so we need to keep a lot of doors open to make sure we get the right roles filled.

No freaking out. But i like to call out stupid ideas when i see them.

Fully aware of the difference between showing interest and actively recruiting. thank you.

my point is why even show interest in someone with that history when it's clear there are several other prospects that don't have that history? Why even show interest?

waste of time.

The two times he was caught. Pass. We appear the have a group now that stays out of trouble. Not worth the risk.

Brandon Johnson 6’8 from Western Michigan. This guy would be like Carmichael. Don’t know if he would look to go P5 or not but Belcher is following.

6-8/220, PF, Western Michigan 15.4 ppg, 8.1 rpg

Boston College

Was a little concerned about his 60% FT & he seemed to like taking the 3.
We have enough guys that like taking the 3. We need someone who can guard the 5, score down low, & rebound.

Really interesting player to follow. Started 7 games at Robert Morris his freshman year and played in every game. Numbers don’t look great. Transferred to Michigan State as a walk-on and didn’t see a ton of action. Originally from Stevensville, Mich, I’m guessing he’s a life long Sparty fan and was living out a dream being able to play for Izzo.

Looking at his tape, though it was from practice since he doesn’t have sufficient game footage from Michigan, he seems to have a really nice hook shot that at his size in the MVC would be unstoppable if he hits it consistently. It showed he can pass out of double teams, and step out and hit open threes. He did not look like someone who stands around the 3 pt line. I didn’t like that there were no defensive highlights on his reel. I want to see how he did defending the 4 and 5 star bigs that Michigan State brings in.

Former Lyons Township star Connor Niego, who started 31 games last season at Holy Cross, is heading to the transfer portal. The 6-9 Niego averaged 8.8 points and 5.1 rebounds a game in 30 minutes of play. https://t.co/XnQ4zBHFoZ

Not sure if he is a grad transfer ... local kid that played at Hoky Cross

I've known this kids dad, Joe for many years. He was a Chicago area realtor who I bought and sold a bunch of stuff with. Now he's a national trainer. Played B-ball at Lewis and got drafted in 2nd round. Great family!!!
