drake has experienced backcourt but nobody saw 12-0 and a thrashing of SIU coming.

you have to wonder....it Devries was coaching Mullers players how much better would Mullers players be?

Drake up to 34th most votes in the AP poll. Knocking on being ranked in the top 25.

I saw three Drake this year and they were impressive in each one. They are playing with confidence. Yesterday they made some incredible 3s against SIU.

And when they don't make 3's they will get beat. Every one here has been so mad that we live and die by the 3 the last few seasons and then Drake does it and Muller is a terrible coach.

I'm not saying Muller isn't, I'm saying the hypocritical posting here is off the charts.

Three point shooting is an important part of the game and a must to compete. How you get those shots 3s just as important.

BTW Drake is shooting 43.0% from 3 ... thats 4th best in the nation. They shoot 19.3 threes per game which is 258th. They don't just stand out there and Chuck it from 3. They are 58.2% from 2 which is 26th in the nation. Turnovers 12.2 per game which is top 100. They are also very good at defending .... 38.8% which is 37th in nation.
ISU actually shoots the 3 well. We are 38.1% which is 41st in the nation. Its not worth mentioning other offensive stats because the one game skewed those figures. Remove that game and our shooting % for 2s plummets

Our 3 pt defense is ok our 2 pt defensive shooting % is 56.2% for 318th in the nation ... HORRIBLE.

I’m a huge fan of the three. Every good team has shooters that can keep the D honest; you have to.
Our problem is we don’t have any shooters and haven’t had anything close to a shooter in the last twenty years; expect for Moore, Brown, and maybe Oguchi.

We are actually shooting over 38% from 3 which is good. I think we have shooters. We just turn the ball over too much and our inside offensive game is below average.

In my mind our defense is our Achilles Heal.
