This is what I got last Friday afternoon in response to this follow-up question concerning previous email - Based upon your statement “Seating will be allocated through our newly established guidelines, that will be outlined in the donor guidebook. Individuals will be seated first according to donor level and then by priority points”, am I understanding correctly that your annual giving for any current year will now take precedence over the totality of past contributions(priority points)?

Under the new guidelines, members will be ranked first by total giving for the year. From there, we will rank based on priority points, which as you correctly stated, includes past contributions.

We are currently finalizing details and hope to have renewal information out within the next week. You will be receiving this information by mail, but we will also have it available on our website as well.”
There appear to be quite a few tickets still available for Whisky game as of this morning, so I guess we just continue to wait.

For those of you that have followed the off-season and fall camp more closely than me, do we have a shot in this game? We all know Wiscy is going to try and run it down our throats. How is our DL and LB crew looking?

This is a pretty good outlook for the 2022 Wisconsin Badgers. They have a new Offensive Coordinator so maybe some changes in attacking philosophy there. Solid running attack returns but it probably depends on how well the QB plays for the Wisconsin offense. The Bird D will have their hands full trying to stop running back Braelon Allen. The defense lost some key people but looks like they brought in transfers with experience to maybe off set the losses. It will probably take some time for the Badger D to jell so playing the them early is maybe not a bad thing. The Redbirds have to slow the Badger running game to have a chance of pulling off an upset. Metz, the Badger QB, turned the ball over 15 times last year, a turnover or two would certainly help the Birds cause.

Pretty good synopsis from my vantage point, Virginia, reading the local paper every day. QB has been prone to errors, but UW is hoping for improvement/reaching projected skill level. OL is always good, there are new guys and old guys moving positions, but expect tough huge guys up front. Allen is good at RB, also Chez Mellusi (Clemson transfer) is back after injury and is very tough. Some changes on the front 7 for the D, but also guys with experience. Transfers in the DB, as you say, hopefully will take some time to gel and our former Big 10+ starting QB will not be intimidated and our "hidden strength" at WR will show big! ;)

I think the bigger question is will the line be Wisconsin by more or less than 21?
More.

I'd guess somewhere in the 28 range. I believe when Mo State played Oklahoma recently it was like a 41.5 pt spread or something.

Season opener at Wisconsin is 1 month from today - 31 days!

Ticket, fan bus, and tailgate information here
Anyone know what section the ISU ticket allotment is?
Unless there are changes for this upcoming season, here are the visiting team allocated ticket locations at Camp Randall Stadium...

Section X: This is the primary visitors section (first 22 rows) near the South endzone. This is also the location where Reggie and the ISU Spirit Squad will be cheering from.

SECTIONS AA & LL: Secondary visitors seating way atop the upper deck on the Westside of the stadium. Redbirds aren't afraid of heights, so you should all be comfortable up there! Plus, the view of Lake Mendota is quite nice.

SECTIONS U & T: Very limited allotment in first few rows, most likely reserved for visiting players families, etc.

Good luck and enjoy your visit to Madison!
