How would that be “outing the source”, if you didn’t find out from that source or the person who the source let in on the scoop? If I tell someone something in confidence, and someone else finds out in a completely unrelated way, do I have the right to be upset with the person I shared it with?

Took me 8 seconds to look on socials and see it is likely Dusan Mahorcic from Nc State. There you go.

Just circled back to see which thin skinned person I offended by simply stating that I’m disgusted with Redbird hoops a week in. Looks like I found 2 of them!

Yet you felt the need to announce that you know the conferences they play in. Congrats on your low major knowledge

Pro tip: if you schedule teams that 99% of the ncaa fan base can’t tell you what conference they play in, make sure you beat them. See you next year Redbird fans

Not sure that is necessarily being biased or the fact that for every bad loss, a power 5 bubble team has 4 really good wins. If you are a mid major with no real quality wins, you are not going to offset those bad losses. A P5 bubble team is usually .500 or better in conference play. For example...

Agreed that it is nice to get 2 early road wins, regardless of who they are against. A large percentage of the rotation comes from power 5 programs and used to playing in much more rowdy stadiums on the road than they will find at the mid major level, so maybe it’s a sign that there really isn’t...

    NW State vs #15 TCU

On the other hand, WIU lost 70-37 yesterday. None the less, I was very pleasantly surprised to see NW State win that game.

    NIL Community Collaboration Event

Haha that being said, I remember in my years ISU, Osiris Eldridge was still a Redbird and the Alamo sold one isu hoops jersey and it happened to be the number 0. Coincidence?

    Welcome Luke Kasubke

Whoa he scored the points in front of Lebron???? Thank god this guy just transferred and didn’t declare for the draft! Was lebron guarding him or just in the crowd? Kidding! Love this get for the Redbirds! As a whole, I’ll take the players we got over the players we lost any day of the week...

    Josiah Strong Gone

I don’t think “getting to March” is the goal of 95% of college athletes. Getting paid to play after college, whether over seas, or in the nba, is the goal. This disconnection with fans and athletes is the same reason why fans of professional teams get upset at players not taking a home count...

Ohio State assistant Ryan Pedon to be head coach

Interesting. Would love Fleming back as well as mcchesney. Obviously I would love Reeves, but i kind of thought this would be his last year with ISU either way. Chatman coming back would be solid too. Most of the rest, I could take or leave returning

Ohio State assistant Ryan Pedon to be head coach

Agreed. A 6-7 out of conference record against a “strong SOS” doesn’t help anyone. And the theory of playing good teams gets them ready to play in conference is BS if you ask me. Sure maybe the first game or two of conference play, but by game 3 it doesn’t matter

Yep I stand corrected. Have to wear this one 🤷🏻‍♂️ that was bad. Knew Belmont was confirmed, thought uic, kc, murray state, utsa were still giving presentations, and thought kc and uic were favorites. Oh well, glad those 3 are in for next year

Those schools do a much better job of recruiting high school talent. The problem with relying on JUCO and D1 transfers every year, is that they have less eligibility and also have left a school before, so more prone to do it again. If we get back reeves, Sy, Fleming, and mcchesney that would be...

Ohio State assistant Ryan Pedon to be head coach

That is a reasonable projection. I think the MVC gets screwed by the Committee more often than not, which is why ultimately I don’t think any job in the mvc is that attractive. Many times, the team that wins the conference for the lone bid is still an 11-12 seed. I hope the conference continues...

Ohio State assistant Ryan Pedon to be head coach

Yikes. Big time whiff on those ones. Yea I think he could have gotten a better job than this. And as stated before, that is great news for isu…. I also think Ja Morant could have gone to a better school than Murray state. He chose Murray state, and they benefited from it. Not sure what your...

Oh no, I feel bad for you. A) for thinking that anything at all MVC related would be all over national news And B) for thinking any of those teams other than Belmont are officially in for 2022
