The committee chairman said Indiana St was in the tournament yesterday. When 4 bids were stolen last night, they had to stay up until 2am to remove 4 teams they previously agreed were in and Indiana St was 3rd among those 4.
He also said the last 3 years had an average of 0.67 bid thieves. This...
The head of the committee went out of his way to mention ISUb was missing their 2nd best player for the SIU loss and half of our game - and that those were the only 2 games ISUb lost outside the top-50 all year.
Problem is he made those comments before all the bid thieves, so the numbers game...
Dayton’s resume/metrics are barely better than Indiana State’s. Yet Dayton is a projected 7-8 seed and Indiana State is projected out. The difference in conference rank is a grand total of 1.
For those hearing Marshall, what is the track record of those sources?
Everyone hates Marshall, but everything meant more when he was coaching. Redbird Arena was electrifying and I remember at least 2 games sold out. Say what you want about Marshall, but it’ll create memories and a...
Wrong. His update has Montana as the AQ. You’re not looking at an updated version, which is why there’s errors.

If FAU/Dayton win the conference tournaments, 2 more spots open on the bubble since USF/Richmond occupy those AQs currently. That would then mean *6* teams would have to pass Indiana State in the conference tournaments.
This. I’m disappointed in the loss. I’m more disappointed a “fan” calls our players “bums”. Completely unacceptable and an awful representation of our fan base.
Decent showing from us. We’ve covered the club sections in 126/101/102/103, as well as a bunch of rows behind the bench.
Evansville with a decent showing as well.
No one in either student section though.
We've definitely had the best showing of any of those bottom-4 seeds throughout history. Historically, the bottom-4 have little-to-no showing. Whereas, we've definitely brought a few hundred at minimum every year.
Forced all-session ticket sales have always been a constant. Each school is given a quota of all-session ticket sales. If they don't meet it, they eat the price. Last I heard, the quota was 225 given to each school.
Teams who exceed that quota are given extra all-session tickets. Bradley and...
Jeff Jackson said Arch Madness all-session ticket sales are up 1500 over last year.
Hope to see a decent amount of Redbirds. We had big followings as recently as 2017 and 2018, but it fell off the past 5 years for obvious reasons.
Actually, Murray State fans love the MVC. Just go to their board and ask them. I read it often.
It's interesting that every D-I school's administration uses the same logic Murray State used in moving up to the MVC. I can't find more than one instance of a school using your logic and staying in...
Most of the MVC's academically stronger schools are private schools, some of whom are placed in a different ranking system by USNWR. USNWR is not an apples-to-apples comparison because it excludes some of the MVC's higher ranked schools.
Times/WSJ puts all schools under the same umbrella, and...
