Sadly that’s not an option. It could’ve been, it should’ve been, but there is no college athletic program that has wasted as much potential as Illinois State.
Illinois State does not have the money to compete at a high level. They have the potential to generate the kind of revenues needed to compete at a high level, but they have never run the athletic dept that way.
To be honest, they are just now actually starting to raise money for this project. I thinks we can all stop pretending that Larry Lyons truly prioritized the IPF.

Absolutely hate that mindset, it just reeks of the small time thinking that has permeated this athletic dept for so long.
I don’t know who they’d bring in but there’s no way that Jones survives this, right? There’s been absolutely no flow or organization offensively for several years now. These kids can’t compete if they’re not put into a position to do so.
