I graduated in 2008. We NEVER sat down during an ISU Basketball game while at Redbird Arena. The only exception being halftime.
Weve got students on their damn phones the whole time, chilled out, dont care, dont stand, dont cheer, dont participate. A winning culutre goes to help this, but even...
As someone who had front row seats at the Horton Game, I 100% agree and it was 100% the most fun Ive had at a game recently. My buddy and I were having a blast and stood for the last half of the second half. Dont care that the people behind us had to stand too, it was the game to be loud and...
Im happy to see the student section get back into it.
When I was at school 04-08 we stood the whole time, were aggressively harassing other players, always in it. Now everyone just sits on their phones. It seems like people are starting to finally stop being in their phones 24/7. I mean...
I was wondering if I was the only one seeing the problem with the screens and I was just being a novice who doesnt know how to coach and didnt understand what I was watching. Im glad i wasnt wrong in that thought, and I agree with you regarding the improvement in that area last night.
I was really frustrated with how it seemed like we couldnt crack the zone defense for the entire game. When we did get in the paint it worked well for us. Im sure Pedon will have a solution and will work on it, but that aspect made it seem like an ugly win in my mind, or maybe it was the...
You dont establish a culture by reloading half the team every year because you didnt like how many points they put up in a rebuilding season. We are not UNC, we dont have the luxury of baiting major recruits out of the transfer portal. We get kids and develop them and hopefully they stick around...
This makes no sense to me. I walked out dissappointed in the loss but energized about the teams ability to fight back and stay in the game in the second half. INSU is clearly the team to beat right now in the Valley. They have been behind for a total of 6 MINUTES in their last five games. Thats...
Why were you frustrated in the early 2000's? We had the place rocking and decent teams that got no respect from the NCAA selection committee.
Sure, it would have been great to win a MVC Championship and make the big dance more, but we were going against Creighton and WSU at their height and...
Are you willing to work with those of us out of town to get these posters bought and shipped to us? Or providing a non social media contact for the artisit to coordinate that through them? Id love to support the artist but cant do a mid week, no game night drive.
Long shot here but does anyone have an extra poster from this game for sale? I dont live in town, couldnt figure out how to get a hold of this thing without being at the bar that one night it was sold.
Obviously willing to pay for shipping cost and supplies.
Im on 08 grad and I know we can sell out Redbird Arena, we've had standing room only games in the area recently (WSU when they were ranked and on a roll). Im hoping we get back there again, its magic in Redbird Arena when its packed, just as much energy and just as loud as this Horton Game was.
Front row behind Doug Collins tonight. Great seats for a great game. Everything I imagined a Horton Field house game to be. This '08 grad is grateful for this amazing night.
Any idea about this GA seating situation? First come first serve obviously but is there going to be just a section for it, or will all of the lower level be GA? Best doors to come into?
Its been a long time since two road wins, its been a long time since FT% has been this good. Its been refreshing to see games before thanksgiving. Its been a while that we've had close games at the end and have been able to pull out the win. Its gonna be a long rough season, but we are making...
