I don’t think Tommy Lloyd and Powell are that comparable- other than they have worked for Few at Gonzaga. Lloyd had been there 20 years and was pretty widely considered the top assistant coach in the NCAA. He could have left a LONG time ago, but he loved being there. He recruits at another level.

Brian Michaelson has been the lead assistant since Tommy Lloyd left to Arizona.

Think so? I don’t think his name has the same drawl as a Dee Brown or Deron Williams… he was solid role player on a beloved team. Gonzaga has brought in some high profile recruits recently- were any of them his recruits?

Luke Murray doesn’t need the money. Also spent a lot of time in Louisville (Midwest). His dad would be a hoot in the Legends Club room…
